Infant and Toddler-Savvy Nanny Needed for Seattle Family

Location: Wedgewood, Seattle

Ages of Children: 3.5yo, 2yo, and 3mo

Start Date: End of April, beginning of May

Schedule: 8am-5pm M-F (potentially date nights, but not mandatory)

Compensation: $30-$35/hr

Benefits: 2 weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays and sick days

About The Family

A wonderful family moving to Seattle is looking for a warm, playful, and patient nanny to join their family. They have three sweet children—a 3.5-year-old boy, a 2-year-old girl, and a 3-month-old baby girl. The family values creativity, art, nature, and dancing, and they would love a nanny who shares these passions. The oldest child is incredibly bright, eager to learn, and loves to breakdance. He will eventually begin pre-k. When she's not following big brother around, the 2 year old can be found playing with dolls for hours! Both big kids adore their family and friends and show their love with lots of art! Baby girl is just becoming aware of her surroundings, but she is already obsessed with her siblings. Outside of typical baby life, she loves contact naps and reading books.

Mom and dad are easygoing and very open to finding new solutions to problems. Dad works from home and the kids love to say hi when he's free. But for most of the day he will be in his office. These incredible parents are looking for someone to become like family to them.

Ideal Nanny

The ideal candidate will be energetic, engaging, and comfortable navigating the toddler years with patience and understanding. This family loves open communication and pictures throughout the day to stay updated on what the littles are up to! With 3 young kiddos, you must be creative-these kids love activities, crafts, and made-up games. So pinterest might become your best friend! It's important that you don't have any pet allergies; they have 2 cats and a dog. You won't have any pet responsibilities.
Your main responsibility for this role is to ensure the children are safe and engaged throughout each day. Preparing their meals and end-of-day clean up from child related toys are the only additional tasks. When the family car is available, you can use it to take the kids out. Otherwise, there are parks that are walkable from their house.

Qualifications

4+ years of nanny experience
Knowledge and experience with infant and toddler aged children
Valid driver's license
CPR and First-aid certified
